$180K in ‘Some Pretty Irrational Places’

The very top of the market got proactive and just said, well, there’s a limited supply of the people that we want, so we’re going to be aggressive and we’re going to go to $180K, and there’s probably, maybe, 15 or 20 firms that could have and should have followed it. But it cascaded throughout the United States, into the Midwest, into the South, and into some pretty irrational places.
