Airbnb Drops Bid to Block New York State From Using Sublet Law

Airbnb Inc. dropped its bid to block New York state from enforcing a new law restricting short-term sublets, as the company continues talks with New York City over the issue.

Airbnb and New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman filed papers in Manhattan federal court Tuesday agreeing that the law provides for it to be enforced by the mayor’s office and dismissing the state from the suit.
