Alston & Bird Lures IP Litigation Vet From Manatt in L.A. (1)

Alston & Bird has hired a former Manatt, Phelps & Phillips attorney, Yuri Mikulka, to serve as a partner in its intellectual property group in Los Angeles, part of a series of recent California attorney pickups for the firm.

Mikulka, who focuses on digital and consumer technology litigation and counseling, will further boost Alston & Bird’s presence in L.A.

The L.A. growth is part of an effort to “address increasing client demand” across many of the firm’s practice groups, said Thomas Wingard, partner-in-charge of Alston & Bird’s office in the city.
