Apollo Astronaut’s Misappropriation Case Against Bulova Goes Ahead

An Apollo astronaut’s lawsuit against the company that makes Bulova watches will go forward after a federal district court rejected the watch maker’s motion to dismiss the claims.

Dave Scott, who went to the moon in 1971 on the Apollo 15 mission, wore a timepiece that Bulova gave him. Scott objected to Bulova’s use of his name when it issued a commemorative timepiece in 2015.
