Arnold & Porter Hires Former Conn. Senator

Christopher J. Dodd, the former five-term senator from Connecticut and former chief executive officer of the Motion Picture Association of America, is joining Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP as senior counsel, the firm announced Jan. 16.

Dodd, who served in the U.S. Senate and, earlier, in the House of Representatives, will be an advisor to the firm’s clients on a range of legislative issues, including financial services, media and entertainment, intellectual property, health care, and data privacy.
