Baker Botts Selects John W. Martin as Newest Leader

Baker Botts has elected John W. Martin, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based attorney with more than three decades at the firm as its newest managing partner.

Martin will take the helm on April 1, succeeding Andrew M. Baker, who has served two terms as the firm’s managing partner, but will be subject to mandatory retirement by the end of this year.

Martin expressed gratitude for this “great honor” in a statement.
