Big Law Parking Dispute on Long Island Settles (Corrected)

Three handicap parking spots will be installed on a downtown street in Garden City, New York after a Covington & Burling client with multiple sclerosis settled a lawsuit against the Seyfarth Shaw-backed village.

The settlement marks an end to an unlikely Big Law battle that kicked off in July last year. Long Island resident Gerard Kelly filed an Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuit against Garden City in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
