Boies Schiller Lands Justice’s Former Acting No. 3 Official

The Justice Department’s former acting associate attorney general is joining Boies Schiller Flexner LLP as its newest partner, the firm said Nov. 15.

Jesse Panuccio plans a dual-focus for his new practice — “high-stakes” litigation and appeals in Florida, where he resides, coupled with broader, national matters that he’ll handle from the firm’s office in Washington. He left the DOJ in May after serving more than two-years in leadership roles, including the third highest-ranking position at the agency.
