Calif. Lawmaker Cleared of Harassment, Her Accuser Will Appeal

A former California Assembly staff member is likely to appeal an investigator’s findings that Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia (D) didn’t sexually harass him, as Garcia returns to the Capitol.

The assemblywoman took a leave of absence during the investigation. Garcia returned to her post in her Los Angeles-area district May 21, and returned to Sacramento May 23, her spokeswoman told Bloomberg Law in an email.
