Robert J. Jackson Jr., a corporate law professor at Columbia Law School, will be nominated for a Democratic seat on the Securities and Exchange Commission, the White House said today.
Jackson is director of the law school’s Program on Corporate Law and Policy, according to his biography on the university’s website. His research emphasizes empirical study of executive compensation and corporate governance matters.
