Cozen O’Connor to Acquire Chicago Firm

Cozen O’Connor announced on Thursday that its partners had agreed to acquire the smaller Chicago law firm, Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson.

The deal, effective June 1, brings Cozen a 60-lawyer team in Chicago with specialties ranging from labor and employment, to insurance, to a niche and well-regarded legal fee dispute practice.

The combination is expected to bring more than $30 million in revenue to Cozen, which ranked No. 103 out of all U.S. law firms in terms of revenue in 2013, according to the most recent available data in The American Lawyer.
