Dentons Enlists Robots to Help Clients with Brexit

As companies gear up to navigate the U.K.'s impending exit from the European Union, generating a raft of work for law firms, Dentons is calling in some robots to help.

In collaboration with RAVN Systems, a U.K.-based technology company, the law firm announced on Monday it’s in the “advanced stages” of developing a “cognitive search engine tool that can be used for Brexit-related contract reviews.”

The tool uses RAVN’s “Applied Cognitive Engine” robot, or “ACE,” and will allow the firm to review high volumes of contracts to identify provisions that could be impacted by the U.K.'s secession from Europe, according to the statement. ...
