Dewey & LeBoeuf Ex-CFO Guilty as Ex-Executive Director Goes Free

The former finance chief of defunct law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP was convicted of defrauding investors before it went bankrupt. But the firm’s ex-executive director was cleared of charges by a Manhattan jury.

Joel Sanders, 59, faces as many as four years behind bars for fraud while Stephen DiCarmine walked free after Monday’s verdict in state court in Manhattan.
