DLA Piper Co-Chair on Chile Expansion, Mergers, Brexit and 2016

DLA Piper is closing out 2016 with the December announcement that it formed an alliance with the 25-lawyer Chilean firm Bahamondez, Alvarez & Zegers.

It took months of negotiations, and marked the latest move in the firm’s ongoing strategy to heavily invest in North and South America markets.

“We will hopefully very soon reach an agreement with a Peruvian firm,” Roger Meltzer, DLA Piper’s global co-chairman told Big Law Business.
