A federal judge narrowed but didn’t dismiss a lawsuit seeking to block President Donald Trump’s plan to end a program protecting hundreds of thousands of children of undocumented immigrants from deportation.U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis in Brooklyn, New York, previously blocked the U.S. government from moving to deport those covered under the program, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. On Thursday, he said those suing the U.S may proceed with a claim that Trump’s policy move was driven by unlawful considerations of race.
