Ex-'First Mondays’ Host Ian Samuel Resigns from Law School (1)

Ian Samuel, a former co-host of the now-defunct “First Mondays” podcast about the Supreme Court, has resigned from his Indiana University law school faculty position now that a Title IX investigation of allegations against him has ended.

Samuel posted his resignation letter to the university on Twitter on Friday, acknowledging the allegations and recognizing those who complained.

“The allegations in this case describe me drinking to excess in a public place I shouldn’t have been, in company I shouldn’t have kept, and treating the people present in ways they didn’t deserve,” he said in the letter.
