Ex-Greenberg Traurig Leader Bass Starts Diversity Institute (1)

Greenberg Traurig’s former co-president and former head of the American Bar Association Hilarie Bass has launched an institute to advise companies and law firms on how to better retain and promote women.

Bass said she decided to launch the Bass Institute for Diversity & Inclusion because the time was right.

“We’re at an inflection point,” Bass told Bloomberg Law. “Most law firm managing partners want to fix the problem but they don’t know what to do.”
