Ex-House Financial Services Counsel Joins BakerHostetler

Kevin Edgar, former chief counsel of the House Financial Services Committee, has joined BakerHostetler on its Federal Policy team in Washington.

While working for Congress, Edgar played a key role in drafting post-crisis financial legislation, including the JOBS Act of 2012, amendments to the Dodd-Frank Act, and the reauthorization of CFIUS. As an attorney for the Republican minority and then the Republican majority, Edgar worked on numerous bipartisan matters.
