Hunton Andrews Kurth Hires Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe

Former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe has joined Hunton Andrews Kurth as a global strategy adviser in the firm’s privacy and cybersecurity think tank in Washington.

The former national Democratic National Committee chairman will provide counsel to the Centre for Information Policy Leadership as well as to the firm and to clients.

He served as Virginia governor from 2014-18, during which he focused efforts on boosting the state’s cybersecurity sectors.
