In-House Lawyer Pushes for Law Firm Transparency

In an ideal world for Corporate America, general counsel would have access to all of their outside law firms’ financial books, according to Alex Baehr , chief legal officer at Colliers International .

Gaining insight into the revenue law firms hope to earn from handling a company’s legal work would give a leg up to in-house lawyers trying to make sense of their invoices, and Baehr is trying to begin accomplishing just that, he told Big Law Business in an interview.
