JPMorgan Vice Chairman Cutler to Leave for Simpson Thacher

Steve Cutler, who stepped down as JPMorgan’s general counsel two years ago, will leave the bank at the end of March to join law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, company says in memo.

• Cutler joined JPMorgan in 2006, has served as a vice chairman since 2016

• “Steve helped steer the company and advise the board and management through some of the most trying times in our history,” CEO Jamie Dimon says in memo
