Lawyer Won’t Repay Firm Embezzled Funds Anytime Soon

A Wisconsin lawyer who embezzled funds from his firm and clients won’t be getting his revoked license back anytime soon, the Wisconsin Supreme Court said Oct. 17.

Brian Mularski failed to fulfill the requirements needed to resume practicing law, the per curiam opinion said.

Facing numerous complaints about how he handled firm and client funds, Mularski voluntarily surrendered his law license in 2010. He was later convicted of embezzling from his firm and ordered to pay $338,020 in restitution.
