New York Dominates Latest Batch of Trump Judicial Nominees

President Donald Trump rolled out a new batch of planned judicial nominations May 10, including seven for federal district courts in New York.

Three women and three minorities are on the list of 10 intended nominees, which also includes one federal appeals appointment and two other district court candidates.

Republicans are aggressively moving to confirm judicial nominees before the November midterms to bolster support among conservatives and as a hedge against possibly losing their majority in the Senate, which confirms executive appointments.
