NYC Avoids ‘Quick Peek’ Order Over Documents in Housing Suit

Three New York City residents challenging an affordable housing program can’t get a “quick peek” at 3,300 documents the city has withheld as privileged, a federal magistrate judge ruled.

The city can’t be ordered to disclose privileged documents absent waiver or other applicable exception, Katharine H. Parker, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, said May 10.
