Paul Manafort Disbarred at D.C. Circuit Over Witness Tampering

Paul Manafort Jr. can’t practice law before the D.C. Circuit, the federal appeals court ruled Sept. 12.

The move is based on Manafort’s earlier disbarment by the District of Columbia’s top court for witness tampering.

The former chairman of President Trump’s campaign admitted to the charge, which is a crime of moral turpitude, the D.C. Court of Appeals said May 9.

Manafort didn’t challenge the subsequent disbarment case at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, the court said in an unpublished per curiam order.
