Perkins Coie Nabs Diversity Head from DLA Piper

Perkins Coie has hired Genhi Givings Bailey, who led diversity efforts at DLA Piper for a decade, as its newest chief diversity and inclusion officer.

Givings Bailey, based in Perkins Coie’s Chicago office, will lead recruitment, retention and promotion efforts at the firm.

She’ll work closely with the firm’s leadership to make cultural and structural shifts to make diverse attorneys feel more included. She replaces outgoing Perkins Coie diversity head Theresa Cropper.
