The following are personnel changes and other news recently announced by prominent intellectual property law firms and other IP-related organizations:

Jacqueline Charlesworth, former general counsel of the U.S. Copyright Office and key contributor to the Music Modernization Act of 2018, has left Covington & Burling LLP to join music and copyright boutique firm Alter Kendrick & Baron LLP, New York, as a partner.

• IP lawyers Stephen Baskin and Dara Kurlancheek have left Mayer Brown to join King & Spalding LLP, Washington, as partners in the firm’s trial and global disputes practice group.
