Randy Johnson, one of Washington’s highest profile lobbyists on labor issues, has opened up a new government affairs shop at the management-side law firm Seyfarth Shaw, sources familiar with the process tell Bloomberg Law.

A formal announcement from Seyfarth is expected as soon as today, the sources said. Johnson left the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in December, following a 20-year run heading the business lobby’s influential labor, immigration, and employee benefits policy division.
