Senate to Vote on Resolution Restoring Net Neutrality

Democrats are poised to force the Senate to vote on a proposal that would overturn the Federal Communication Commission’s rollback of net neutrality rules.

The May 15 vote comes after Sen. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) last week filed a petition to have the Senate vote to nullify the FCC’s repeal of the Obama-era regulations under the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to review and overturn new federal agency rules.
