Sessions Unveils Justice Department Cybersecurity Task Force

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Feb. 20 announced a Department of Justice cybersecurity task force aimed at limiting global security risks and examining what U.S. law enforcement can do to help mitigate them.

The announcement came against the backdrop of massive data breaches, such as ones at Equifax Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc., that have impacted millions of consumers in the U.S. It also followed the release of a U.S. intelligence community report citing China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia as the biggest cybersecurity threats to national security.
