Skadden, Covington Newest Big Law Firms in College Bribery Case

Covington & Burling, Skadden, and Nixon Peabody have joined a growing number of Big Law firms that have signed on to represent defendants in the college bribery scandal, bringing the number of major firms involved to at least 13.

Many of the defendants have hired accomplished defense attorneys from big firms that can charge up to $1,000 per hour, showing that money isn’t an obstacle for many of the parents in the case.
