Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has continued to grow its international arbitration practice group with the hire of Thomas W. Walsh from Sullivan & Cromwell to serve as special counsel in New York.
Walsh was also special counsel in Sullivan & Cromwell’s litigation group as well as deputy coordinator of the group’s arbitration practice. He has tackled international commercial and investor-state arbitration in addition to cross-border litigation throughout his career, representing multinational clients from industries including telecommunications, electronics and airlines.
