Regional law firms Troutman Sanders and Pepper Hamilton are discussing a possible merger, both firms have confirmed.
The firms have entered into discussions about a “possible combination,” according to a tweet from Pepper Hamilton issued 1:28 p.m. Wednesday. “Our first priority is delivering exceptional legal services to our clients, and, as such, we will have no further comments at this time,” the tweet said.
A Troutman spokeswoman confirmed the statement.
A combined firm would employ more than 1,000 attorneys, according to 2019 AmLaw 200 survey figures, and could boast combined gross revenues of $855 million, which would place the firm ...
