President Donald Trump’s executive order barring U.S. entry from six mostly Muslim countries was put on continued hold by a federal appeals court Thursday.
The Richmond, Virginia-based panel said Trump’s prior calls for a ”Muslim ban” could be considered in weighing the legality of the March 6 executive order.
A forerunner of the executive order incited chaos and condemnation when it was rolled out without warning in January.
Federal courts soon blocked its enforcement, prompting a re-do.
