President Donald Trump defended Brett Kavanaugh on Sunday after the New York Times reported fresh revelations about the Supreme Court justice’s alleged behavior as a student at <-bsp-bb-link state="{"bbHref":"bbg://securities/6047Z%20US%20Equity","_id":"0000016d-364e-d433-a3ef-f77ea3bc0002","_type":"0000016b-944a-dc2b-ab6b-d57ba1cc0000"}">Yale University in the 1980s.

“Such lies about him,” Trump said of the newspaper’s report in two early-morning Twitter messages. “Brett Kavanaugh should start suing people for libel, or the Justice Department should come to his rescue.”
