Uber $10M Pact for Bias With Software Engineers Gets Final Nod

Uber Technologies Inc.'s $10 million nationwide settlement with 400 or so female, Hispanic, black, Native American, Alaskan Native, and multiracial software engineers received final approval from a federal judge in San Francisco.

In addition to the money settlement, the pact requires the ride-hailing giant to continue monitoring its progress on diversity objectives, including those recommended by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.
