  • King & Spalding hired former Federal Bureau of Investigation senior counselor Sumon Dantiki as a partner in its special matters and government investigations team in Washington. Dantiki advised the agency’s leaders on national security issues, including cybersecurity, data breaches, security, privacy, and transformational technologies, such as cryptocurrencies and facial recognition. According to his LinkedIn, Dantiki, a Yale Law grad and former federal appeals court clerk, spent year-long stints as associate at Covington & Burling and Jones Day earlier in his career.
