Wake Up Call: Disney Buys Fox Assets in $52 Billion Deal

• The Federal Communications Commission is poised to vote today to kill Obama-era open internet regulations, a move supported by the commission’s Republican chairman Ajit Pai. Pai justifies the move by pointing to research claiming the rules depress investment in broadband. But opponents of the vote note that much of that research was produced by companies that will benefit from the rule change. ( Bloomberg )
