Wake Up Call: French Bar Wants Lawyers Added to Analytics Ban

  • The French ban on detailed judicial analytics is unlikely to catch on in the U.S., but it seems to be gaining ground in France. In a newly released June 15 resolution, the French National Bar Council argues that lawyers should be added to the country’s recently enacted law that bans legal tech companies from identifying judges or magistrates in connection with statistical analysis or predictions about their future actions.
