Wake Up Call: King & Spalding Hires ex-DOJ Litigator Who Defended Medicare, ACA

  • King & Spalding said former Justice Department healthcare litigator Joel McElvain joined the firm as a partner in Washington. McElvain most recently was DOJ assistant branch director, overseeing defense of Department of Health and Human Services programs including Medicare and Medicaid, the Affordable Care Act, and others.
