Wake Up Call: Money Only No. 5 Reason for Law School Choice, Study Says

• Making a lot of money is only the No. 5 reason undergrads decide to apply to law school, according to a newsurvey of tens of thousands of undergraduates and first-year law students from the Association of American Law Schools. Most of the respondents said they aspired to careers in politics, government, or public service, or they were really interested in legal work, or just wanted to be able to help people. Potential earning power was cited by 31 percent. ( Law.com )
