ABG said it plans to make money licensing out the intellectual property rights to the iconic magazine, which has about 175 million U.S. consumers monthly. Cooley advised the seller, Meredith Corporation, which, according to press release, will for at least two years pay ABG a licensing fee to continue publishing the SI print magazine and manage the brand’s website, advertising, video, and social media.
