Wake Up Call: Women Making Partner Faster Since #MeToo, Data Show

• About twice as many female lawyers per month are making partner at Big Law firms since Harvey Weinstein’s downfall triggered the #MeToo era last year, according to new data from ALM’s Legal Compass database. About 265 women lawyers per month have made partner in the seven months since November 2017 across the over 1,300 firms in the database, compared with about 125 per month in the year to Nov. 1, 2017, this report says.
