Weil, Gotshal & Manges Signs Tripp to Co-Lead Appellate Practice

Weil, Gotshal & Manges has hired former assistant to the U.S. Solicitor General Zachary Tripp to be co-head of the firm’s appellate practice in Washington.

Tripp argued 11 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court while with the Solicitor General’s office, winning nine of them. He joined the Office of the Solicitor General, a unit of the Justice Department which represents the federal government at the Supreme Court, in 2014.
