Weinstein Company Seeks to Keep Sex Claims Suit at Bay

Weinstein Company Holdings LLC wants to prevent a group of women suing it over allegations of sexual misconduct against co-founder Harvey Weinstein from pursuing their claims while it’s in bankruptcy.

A hearing is planned for May 31 in U.S. bankruptcy court in Delaware on a request by the women to move forward with their suit in federal district court in New York. The Weinstein Company objected to the request.
