Williams & Connolly Rehires Former White House Counsel Flood

Williams & Connolly has rehired former White House Special Counsel Emmet Flood as a partner in its white collar defense practice.

President Donald Trump hired Flood in May of 2018 to work on the president’s defense team during the investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller III into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections. In October of last year, he moved to become interim White House counsel, after Don McGahn left to return to Jones Day.
