WWE Wins Round In Concussion Cases; Law Firm Sanctioned

A Massachusetts lawyer and his law firm must pay attorneys’ fees to World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. because of discovery abuses in concussion litigation brought by former professional wrestlers, a federal court in Connecticut ruled July 22.

Konstantine Kyros and the Kyros Law Offices in Hingham, Mass., who represent Vito LoGrasso and Evan Singleton, failed to comply with a court order requiring specific responses to interrogatories posed by WWE, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut said.
